Haiku
The clock moves so slow
How long I have to stay here
Until the bell rings
The bomb has dropped off
Building and house are destroyed
The baby has cried
Leaves wave gentlely
Trees and flowers have stayed quiet
And this is natural

Tanka Poem
I see the river
Crossing through the village house
It used to be clean
But now just full garbage
The river has cried
The birds are singing
Sing with their wonderful voice
People are enjoy
They catch them to hear more song
The birds stop singing
Grass wave gentlely
Trees stands stiff, still with patience
It was so peaceful
Later the buildings arrive
No more peace and calm

Elements of Poetry
The elements of poetry are characters, plot, rhyme, and setting. I think there are more elements that consist the poetry, but I can only think of four so far. Firstable, all poetry have characters in the poem. Poetry is very similar to normal fiction, it is also telling story. The only difference between them is poem written in a more artistic way. The second element is plot. Well, like fiction, poetry has a basic idea of what it is about. Overall, poetry has a basic concept or idea of what it is talking about. You have to have a plot, otherwise you will just be talking nosense, and no one will listen. The third elements is call rhyme. I bet many people are familiar with rhyme, there are many rhyme in a song, which is why we say that poetry is just like song, but they split into two different directions. The examples of rhyme are bad and bat. For example: Ken is acting bad. He destroy things with bat. The last element is setting. As you all know, every writing should have a setting, or else we don't call it writing.

What Does Poetry Do
The biggest thing that poetry do is express a story in rhyme, poetry makes the story sounds like a song. Poems are express in many lines, and every line is usually short and clear. Normal writing will usually just be a bunch of setences that form a paragraph, and many paragraphs form a article or essay. I think the biggest difference between poetry and original writing is poetry doesn't require grammer knowledge, but writing does. Also, you can invent your own words when you are writing poetry, but when you are writing an essay, you have to follow the rules of grammer and spelling. That is why poetries are considered as art, and the people who writes good poem are considered as one kind of artist. I think poetry express more feelings, and it is more able to help the reader to sense about the setting and plot. However, I think people are easier to write essay than poem. There are still many people writing poem in the modern world, but way less than before. Many book writers know how to write good poem.

Spring Break
During the 10 days spring break, I did many different things that I wouldn't be able to do when I go to school. I got to be able to sleep at 12:00 am and wake up at 9:00 am, which was impossible before. I got to spend 3 hours on playing video games, which I know is very bad for my eyes, espicially that I have terrible vision. Also, I didn't need to do the things that I usually did. For examples: study and do homework. Even though it was very fun for me to do all these wasting time activities, I didn't spend my whole day on them. I would still have to do my basic chores, like walking dogs and throw the trash bags. I was sick this spring break, I kept on sneezing, and my throat is intensively dry. Luckily, after a couple days of healing, I got much better. I went to Pindong and Taipai this spring break. I went to see all my pass away ancestor in Pindong, cause at the old times, my family was living in Pingdong. I went to Taipai to visit my pass away grandpa and grandma, also, we visit our relatives. At the last day of the spring break, I bought some english books. I think they are interesting and appropriate for me.
Exaggeration
People use exaggerations to show how intensive or how great something is. From example some people will sometimes say "I am so hungry that I can eat a cow within a minute." or mabye "He is fast like a wind". From the above two examples, we all know that they are impossible. It is impossible for a human been to finish a cow within 60 seconds, Well, mabye they can if the cow is super small. Even the expression is not possible, people say that to show how hungry the person is. This is just an expression, there is no literally meaning. Another expressions talks about fast is even more impossible. How can a human be fast like a wind? The sentence is just trying to show how fast the person is. I heard people saying exaggerations pretty often. For example, I hear people say "I will tear you into pieces if you don't do that!" Well, of course they won't tear the other person into pieces, but the person will become very angry if the other person doesn't does certain thing. Sometimes I will say "I will die!". I won't die, but it just shows that I am very nervous.
