Elements of Poetry

The elements of poetry are characters, plot, rhyme, and setting. I think there are more elements that consist the poetry, but I can only think of four so far. Firstable, all poetry have characters in the poem. Poetry is very similar to normal fiction, it is also telling story. The only difference between them is poem written in a more artistic way. The second element is plot. Well, like fiction, poetry has a basic idea of what it is about. Overall, poetry has a basic concept or idea of what it is talking about. You have to have a plot, otherwise you will just be talking nosense, and no one will listen. The third elements is call rhyme. I bet many people are familiar with rhyme, there are many rhyme in a song, which is why we say that poetry is just like song, but they split into two different directions. The examples of rhyme are bad and bat. For example: Ken is acting bad. He destroy things with bat. The last element is setting. As you all know, every writing should have a setting, or else we don't call it writing.
